The first studio to offer such a service was Spiel Studios, which it calls ‘Game Process Outsourcing’. The company has offices in the UK,
US and (naturally) India – helping facilitate communication with Western developers – and boasts an expandable infrastructure to scale up to handle multiple projects on multiple consoles.

“We believe we can change the ecosystem of game development since as per a report only three out of ten games make profits,” says Spiel founder and CEO Mohit Sureka. “By using our services, developers and publishers can cut their development cost by at least 60 per cent – if not more."
